This thesis takes the reader deep into campaign tactics, in American presidential campaigning. The focus is on negative campagining, and negative advertisements in particular, and how candidates running for Office make use of these nasty tactics. There is a case study of the campaigning for the Democratic nomination for the General Election in 2008, between Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton
Both academics and readers with general interest in American politics, and campaign tactics, will benefit from reading the thesis. There is both a historical, a political and a academic analysis - promising to appeal to all readers.
